My name is Kimberley Mosher and I’m a marketing PhD candidate at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Currently, my research explores how consumers interact with brands through many forms of consumption. I am most interested in the possibility that consumers can gain benefits from consumption experiences that do not involve traditional consumption (e.g., acquisition, use, disposal) but instead focus on experiencing the brand through the imagination, daydreaming and desiring what currently cannot be obtained.
Before entering academia, I earned a bachelor degree in commerce and worked in the fields of consulting, advertising and economic development.
I like good food, cats, board games, DIY projects, curling, bicycling and road trips. I live to learn new things; and occasionally post things of interest on my blog.
