Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did a bit of shopping, saw some fireworks in Pictou, NS with my family and took a dip (or 2!) in the parent’s pool. Here’s hoping for a nice weather week where I can bike to the office each and every day!
Five cool things for this week:
1. The Afterlife of Cheap Clothes. Listen up fashionistas: if you are the type that likes to clean and closet and give to goodwill, think again. Read this article over at Slate to find out the truth of what happens to your donated clothes. I think I’ll be reconsidering repurposing and giving away to friends before going to Goodwill going forward, and you should, too!
2. Menno Aden photos of rooms from above. A cool vantage point not often considered. Here’s one of my favourites.

4. Road trip snack food. Ugh – travelling anywhere with a belly like mine is tough. I don’t mind the restrictions, but my belly minds it when there is nothing on a menu that works. The list of no’s is long, so I won’t list them here, but instead I’ll offer this great post at Mark’s Daily Apple that gives some great tips on doing road trips Primal style.
