Writing
I write topical articles for and about Generation Y – my generation. My personal short essays have been featured on various blogs, including, 20-nothings and East Coast By Choice. I’ve also completed various assignments for the online magazine TNGG including a series that I concepted and created on the 2011 film “Life in a Day”.
Consulting
I have worked with businesses, small and large, to solve problems. Sometimes it’s operations, other times it’s evaluating marketing strategies but, it’s always about making effective changes that drive better business operations.
Advertising
I’ve managed a variety of retail, gaming, and real estate accounts and advised clients on marketing practices for their businesses. I’m a shrewd spreadsheet manager so that budgets are kept in-line and delivery is on time.

| As a casual contributor to The Next Great Generation, I have written more than ten pieces focusing on various Generation-Y topics, including career and personal development, advertising and marketing, gift giving, and various book reviews. My personal favourite is a three-part series on the 2011 film project, “Life in A Day”, created by Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald. |

Designed and delivered two days of marketing education and facilitation for the Phoenix Program, a rehabilitation and educational program that focuses on individuals 19 to 29 who have previously been in conflict with the law. The content I delivered focused on a basic introduction to marketing principles and was designed to complement the ongoing business training and education that the students were receiving as part of this program. |
Branding Lecturer, Pan-Atlantic Youth Conference, Sydney, NS
| Presented a 60-minute presentation on place and location marketing and branding principles for an audience of 100+ youth, aged 16 to 21, supporting the “Branding Atlantic Canada” conference theme. As part of the presentation, students were engaged in dialogue and discussion on the presentation content, as it provided the foundation for the conference assignment to build a brand for Atlantic Canada. |
