This past week flew by, and the weekend was even speedier. I saw some friends get married and danced and danced until my feet ached with old friends at the reception! Well, it’s back to reality now.
Here’s five fresh things for this week:
1. Cheating happens, but did you know that sometimes it’s the brighter students doing it? A fascinating article from the New York Magazine on a recent case in NYC. The details are gripping.
2. A cool DIY project (that’s easier than recovering a chair, I swear). Newfoundland blogger Ali posted this how-to on a quick way to turn an old book into a mail sorter. Cute!
3. How to perfectly boil eggs (via nom nom paleo). This is a seriously smart skill to have, and yes, it makes a difference when you follow the steps completely instead of just throwing eggs into the pot and kinda waiting a while. I’ll be making a whole batch of these for devilled eggs this week, as it’s my week to bring munchies to our weekly evening class. Yes, graduate school classes are awesome (when they have food).
4. Seven Minutes in Heaven with Mike O’Brien. I’m positive that I’ve shared these clips previously, but they are just so funny every time! This latest clip featured Paul Rudd, and I think the kiss at the end is hilarious.
5. Les Mis is going to be ah-maz-ing. Even before I watched this, I knew it would be fantastic, but learning about the way they shot the music is fascinating and gets me even more excited for the film!
Have a great week!
